Born and bred on Churchill Gardens I bought my first single from local hot spot Recordsville..Tumblin’ Dice..I still don’t know all the words.
My first gig was The Who supported by Kilburn & The High Roads at The Lyceum in 1973 and I will argue that the unloved musical year of 1975 was the greatest of all as I saw The Who,Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen and Thin Lizzy for the princely total sum of eight quid!
The show will probably consist of whatever I was listening to on my headphones after kicking off my clogs in this photograph.
